Job description

We are looking for a Technical Program Manager to drive the enablement of Zero-Touch Provisioning (ZTP) for physical security devices at scale. This TPM will own programs that directly accelerate data center build timelines by automating device onboarding and reducing manual intervention. The role covers three active program areas: Intercoms (cross-fabric deployment across global data centers), Perimeter Intrusion Detection Systems (infrastructure remediation and standardization), and the forward-looking roadmap for enabling additional physical security device types through our provisioning platform.

A critical component of this role is defining the physical security device requirements that enable new devices to be seamlessly integrated into our AWS data center security environment. The TPM will establish and maintain device integration standards - working with hardware vendors, firmware teams, and internal engineering to ensure that any device entering the fleet meets the connectivity, provisioning, and security requirements necessary for automated onboarding.

The TPM will work across hardware, software, and network teams to coordinate regional deployments, manage cross-team dependencies, and drive operational readiness for global device enablement. This individual will own program execution end-to-end - from requirements definition and stakeholder alignment through deployment and metrics-driven validation. They will partner closely with engineering to drive rollout schedules across global data centers and build mechanisms that scale provisioning without linear resource growth. The right candidate brings a data-oriented approach to prioritization, a bias for automation over manual process, and the ability to navigate ambiguity across hardware, firmware, and cloud infrastructure domains.

Key job responsibilities

The ideal candidate is customer obsessed, innovative, independent and results-oriented. As a Technical Program Manager, you will:

Define and own the physical security device integration requirements that enable new devices to be seamlessly provisioned into the AWS data center security environment through Zero-Touch Provisioning

Drive end-to-end program execution for Intercoms, Perimeter Intrusion Detection Systems, and the roadmap for future physical security device enablement across global data centers

Work with hardware vendors, firmware teams, and internal engineering to establish device connectivity, provisioning, and security standards that scale across the global fleet

Own deployment schedules and regional rollout coordination, managing cross-team dependencies across networking, security, and field operations to deliver against data center build timelines

Establish and manage operational metrics that measure provisioning adoption, deployment velocity, and device health - providing written and verbal updates to leadership

Collaborate with software development teams, network engineering, and data center operations to architect solutions that automate device onboarding and reduce manual intervention

Build mechanisms and processes that scale device enablement from individual sites to hundreds of global data centers without linear resource growth

Drive prioritization strategies using data to sequence device types, regions, and integration work against business impact and engineering capacity

Your job requires a high degree of judgment, the ability to negotiate and influence delivery across teams, comfort navigating ambiguity across hardware and software domains, and excellent communication skills.

About the team

The Raven Team is part of Infrastructure Security at AWS. We build and operate software that automates physical security device lifecycle management across AWS data centers globally. Our platform - Skyward - handles automated device provisioning, health monitoring, and zero-touch onboarding for cameras, intercoms, intrusion detection systems, and access control devices. We work at the intersection of physical security and software engineering, partnering with security teams, data center operations, and hardware vendors. We’re a small, high-ownership team solving real-world infrastructure problems at global scale.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 2+ years of software development experience
  • 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules, * 3+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience

Benefits & conditions
