Senior .NET developer

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using modern .NET technologies.
• Develop scalable and maintainable backend services following best practices and Elia development standards.
• Collaborate closely with architects, business analysts, product owners, and other development teams.
• Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Ensure code quality through code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and adherence to development standards.
• Develop and optimize database structures, queries, and data access layers.
• Integrate messaging and event-driven solutions using RabbitMQ.
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve production issues while ensuring application stability and performance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, DevOps practices, and software development lifecycle enhancements.
• Produce technical documentation and share knowledge within the team.
• Take ownership of assigned deliverables and proactively drive tasks to completion.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in .NET software development.
• Proven experience delivering complex enterprise applications.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, scalability, and maintainability principles.

• Experience with distributed systems and integration technologies is considered a strong advantage.

• French, with a passive understanding of Flemish.
• Flemish, with a passive understanding of French.
