Job description

The Senior Technical Lead will be responsible for leading a technical team in the development and delivery of projects using spring boot, React..JS, and Java. The role involves overseeing the technical architecture, design, implementation, and deployment of solutions to meet business requirements., 1. Lead and mentor a team of developers in designing and implementing high-quality, scalable, and secure applications using spring boot, react..js, and java.

  1. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure timely delivery of solutions.
  2. Drive best practices in coding, design, and development methodologies within the team.
  3. Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance of applications.
  4. Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends to suggest improvements and innovative solutions.

Requirements

  1. High level qualifications include excellent collaboration skills, solid troubleshooting, and strong java full stack development skills as well as great communication skills.
  2. Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms. Experience of Java and JEE internals (Class loading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc).

  3. Expertise with Spring Framework.
  4. Knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL Server, and Oracle is a plus, but we are on SQL.
  5. Experience with designing, implementing, and integrating with REST APIs.
  6. Knowledge of API security, e.g. OAuth2, OIDC. Experience with Apigee or another API Gateway is a plus.
  7. Preferred experience using Docker or another container engine, OpenShift.
  8. Hands on experience in designing systems and developing applications.
  9. Knowledge of developing software deployed on cloud-hosted services.
  10. Microsoft products, Visio, Excel, Word, etc.
  11. JIRA, Jenkins GHA.
  12. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
  13. Strong Team player. Eager to work collaboratively.
  14. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  15. Healthcare and HealthPlan experience a plus.
  16. Agile experience.
  17. UCD/UCI experience a plus.
