Job description
- Be able to identify customer pain points and contribute to defining their needs
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, SEO, and the wider design team to understand project requirements and contribute creative, user-centred thinking
- Produce wireframes, user journeys, and interactive prototypes that reflect user needs, business goals, and design best practice
- Excellent understanding of web compatibility and designing user experiences for mobile, tablet and desktop
- Participate in cross-functional meetings, presenting design rationale clearly and asking the right questions to advocate for the user
- Strong knowledge of user-centred design principles and methodologies
- Support quality assurance and testing processes, flagging issues and contributing to their resolution
- Stay curious about industry trends, emerging tools, and developments in UX practice- bringing new thinking into the team where relevant
- Develop a stronger understanding of WCAG accessibility requirements and apply them consistently across your work
Requirements

What we value above experience is someone who pays attention to the work, to the people around them, and to the standards they are being held to., * 1-3 years of experience in UX design or a closely related field
- A portfolio demonstrating considered, user-centred design across web-based products or platforms
- Proficiency with industry standard tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
- Demonstrate curiosity and passion for creating better user experiences and driving impact
- A proactive approach to learning, with a genuine interest in improving your craft and developing professionally
- Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to explain design decisions to both technical and non-technical collaborators
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift and ownership is expected early
Desirable: Bonus points
- A degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related discipline
- Exposure to Agile or Scrum working environments
- Knowledge of ticketing systems is advantageous
- A basic understanding of HTML and CSS, and how technical constraints shape design decisions
- Portfolio examples that demonstrate design improvements tied to specific user or conversion outcomes
- Familiarity with web analytics or user behaviour tools such as GA4, Microsoft Clarity, or Hotjar
