nCyber Range Network Engineer

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or similar, and eight (8) or more years of experience in a relevant field. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.\n
• Experience with or knowledge of the 5 stages of joint event life cycle (JETC) as it applies to training events.\n
• Experience with Network Hardware Design and Configuration, Network Troubleshooting, and Network Performance Tuning.\n
• Experience with Linux and Windows, network administration, and networking protocols/functions (e.g., HTTP, HTTPS, SSL/TLS, SMTP, DNS).\n
• Experience with configuring, managing, and implementing network access control Lists.\n
• Experience with Cisco switching and WAN/LAN technologies\n
• Experience with MS Active Directory and VMWare NSX-T virtual networking.\n
• Experience with security monitoring platforms, such as Security Onion or Splunk.\n
• Worked with Red Hat Identity Management (IdM) and Single Sign-On (SSO) technologies using Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP).\n
• Experience with commercial cloud infrastructure deployment environments such as AWS and Azure.\n
• Self-starter who can work independently in a fast-paced environment while working effectively with engineers and customers. \n
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and requirements from stakeholders.\n
• Security Clearance requirement: Active Top Secret with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI level clearance.\n
• Certification Requirement: IAT Level II/II Certifications such as Security +, CCNA Security, CISSP or equivalent.\n, * Familiar with configuring network devices utilizing Python and Ansible.\n
• Experience with enterprise network management tools such as SolarWinds, Cisco Smartnet, Splunk, or similar technologies.\n
• Experience with MS Exchange and Edge Transport servers.\n
• Knowledge of routing protocols, such as BGP & OSPF, and route maps.\n
• Experience with DNS servers to include queries, mail exchange and name records.\n
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to interface with customers, leadership, and teammates.\n
• Four or more years of experience with cyber training and cyber operations.\n

• Responsible for operational planning in support of training, exercises, operations, and coordination of integrated cyber operations.\n
• Provide network administration support for development, deployment, and problem identification and remediation of the enterprise network environment.\n
• Support large scale cyber exercises and multi-spectrum cyber operations, both defensive and offensive activities.\n
• Work with cyber operators and provide cyber range expertise to enable DCO and OCO operations for Cyber Command.\n
• Translate cyber mission force training and mission rehearsal goals into actionable event environments.\n
• Support the design and execution of cyber range training events.\n
• Provide expertise in architecture, virtual environments, networking, authentication, and system security.\n
• Coach and review the work of lower-level technical staff.\n
• Focus on continuous process improvement across the training event activities.\n
• Work with stakeholders (customer, users, developers, vendors) on requirement changes that impact the training environment.\n
