[Remote] Senior Golang Developer

As a Senior Developer at NSC, you will have the opportunity to work remotely, with fixed working hours from 7AM to 4PM Vietnam time.

We are looking for Senior Backend Engineers with strong Golang experience to join a large-scale data engineering and platform integration project in the financial services sector.

The project involves integrating a modern collections platform with existing enterprise systems and supporting a broader legacy system and data migration initiative. You will work across backend development, event-driven integrations, ETL/ELT pipelines, file-based integrations, AWS cloud infrastructure, and data migration.

Main responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Golang.
• Build event-driven integrations across enterprise applications and data platforms.
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS MWAA and dbt.
• Build file generation and ingestion pipelines using CSV and pipe-delimited formats.
• Develop and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, with Buildkite as a preferred tool.
• Support legacy data migration using AWS DMS.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and observability using Datadog.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested, and production-ready code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and data teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

• 5+ years of experience in Backend Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Golang.
• Solid experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Good understanding of event-driven architecture and integration patterns.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud-native development, particularly:
• Amazon S3
• SFTP
• AWS DMS
• AWS MWAA
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of clean code, unit/integration testing, and production-grade software development.
• Experience working with Git/GitHub in a collaborative engineering environment.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a large-scale enterprise project.

Nice-to-have skills and experience

• Experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Experience with dbt and modern data engineering workflows.
• Experience with Buildkite.
• Previous experience in Financial Services, FinTech, or other regulated environments.
• Experience with collections, debt management, or similar enterprise platforms.
• Exposure to Exus, FICO, or comparable financial/collections platforms.
