Job description
IT Security Analyst Our client is seeking an experienced IT Security Analyst to help protect critical systems, data, and infrastructure. This role is responsible for leading cybersecurity initiatives, managing risk, developing security policies, and ensuring the organization is prepared to respond to security threats and business disruptions. What You’ll Do, Lead the organization’s cybersecurity program, including security planning, implementation, and ongoing management. Develop and maintain Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans. Create and enforce information security policies, standards, and best practices. Manage and monitor security tools, controls, and overall security posture. Partner with IT teams and business leaders to improve security awareness and reduce organizational risk. Coordinate vulnerability assessments, audits, and remediation efforts. Maintain security documentation, risk registers, and a rolling security roadmap. Deliver employee security awareness training. Conduct regular testing of disaster recovery and business continuity procedures. Recommend improvements based on emerging threats and industry best practices., Make a direct impact on the organization’s security strategy. Work closely with technology and business leadership. Lead meaningful cybersecurity initiatives from strategy through execution. Opportunity to shape security policies, programs, and best practices across the organization. Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 5+ years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, or a related field. Strong understanding of security frameworks, risk management, and compliance. Experience with business continuity and disaster recovery planning. Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills. Preferred Qualifications * * * 7+ years of information security experience. Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field. Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC.
