Job description
The Panther Group is partnering with an established organization to identify an experienced HRIS Specialist II to join its HR technology team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Workday professional to play a key role in supporting and enhancing a sophisticated HR technology environment.
The HRIS Specialist II will serve as a technical resource responsible for Workday configuration, reporting, integrations, troubleshooting, and process improvements across multiple functional areas, including Core HCM, Absence Management, Learning, and Advanced Compensation.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on Workday expertise, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and experience supporting a complex or global workforce. What You’ll Do
- Administer and maintain Workday configuration, business processes, security, and data integrity.
- Develop and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, calculated fields, and analytics.
- Support the design, testing, implementation, and troubleshooting of Workday integrations and third-party interfaces.
- Configure and support Workday Absence Management, Learning, and Advanced Compensation modules.
- Partner with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Finance, and IT teams to identify requirements and implement system enhancements.
- Participate in Workday releases, system upgrades, testing, and implementation projects.
- Investigate and resolve system issues, data discrepancies, and integration failures.
- Document system configurations, processes, and procedures while ensuring compliance with data governance standards.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance the employee and manager experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to optimize Workday functionality and support evolving business needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Minimum 5 years of HRIS experience, including at least 3 years supporting Workday.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Workday Reporting and Analytics
- Workday Integrations and Interface Troubleshooting
- Workday Absence Management
- Workday Learning
- Workday Advanced Compensation
- Business Process Configuration
- Experience supporting Workday implementations, enhancements, and system upgrades.
- Experience with Workday security administration.
- Experience with EIBs, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, or other integration technologies.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience supporting a multinational or global organization is preferred.
- Workday certification(s) preferred.
