Job description
- Lead end-to-end execution of technical programs, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, and quality standards
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and milestones across multiple concurrent programs
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and operations to drive alignment and execution
- Monitor program health by tracking key metrics, identifying risks, and driving mitigation strategies
- Facilitate program reviews, status reporting, and executive-level communications
- Oversee issue resolution, dependency management, and contingency planning across complex systems
- Drive continuous process improvements to enhance program efficiency and delivery outcomes
Internal Responsibilities
- Attend regular internal practice community meetings
- Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership
- Complete client case studies and learning material (blogs, media material)
- Build out material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice
- Attend internal itD networking events (in person and virtual)
- Work with leadership on career fast-track opportunities
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager managing software or consumer device programs
- Strong experience with program planning, scheduling, tracking, and risk management
- Experience managing complex, cross-functional programs with multiple dependencies
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and product development processes
- Proven ability to communicate program status, risks, and mitigation plans to technical and business stakeholders
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Experience working on consumer device programs (hardware/software integration)
- Experience with system health, performance metrics, or device stability initiatives
- Familiarity with battery performance, firmware, or embedded systems
- PMP or PMI certification
- Experience working in large-scale, multi-platform environments or big tech organizations
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field required
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
