Through the power of our combined capabilities, we provide deep expertise in Advanced Engineering; Digital Transformation; Electromagnetic Warfare; Interactive Training & Simulation; Physical Sciences Research; Platform Lifecycle Support; and Foreign Military Sales. Unified by decades of trusted performance and expanded through strategic growth, our team applies innovative technologies, engineering rigor, and customer-focused execution to solve complex challenges and accelerate mission success. Guided by our commitment to partnership, precision, and performance, we deliver the scalable solutions and technical excellence our customers depend on-today and into the future. We are seeking a highly experienced Cloud Engineer III to lead the design, implementation, modernization, and sustainment of secure cloud, hybrid cloud, and edge-to-cloud architectures supporting advanced Navy and DoW mission capabilities. This role focuses on cloud architectures aligned to warfighter needs, distributed maritime operations, multi-classification environments, DevSecOps enablement, and secure platform modernization across AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, on-premises, tactical, and on-platform compute environments. The candidate will provide senior-level technical leadership to cross-functional engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and government stakeholders to ensure cloud solutions are scalable, resilient, secure, compliant, and aligned to mission objectives. This role requires in-person support. Duties:

  • Lead the design and implementation of secure cloud architectures that support data-driven mission capabilities, warfighter needs, distributed maritime operations, and Navy operational objectives.
  • Develop hybrid edge-to-cloud architectures that integrate tactical edge nodes, on-platform compute, on-premises infrastructure, and cloud environments across operational and enterprise use cases.
  • Architect solutions across multi-classification environments, while accounting for cloud-based cross-domain considerations and multi-level security requirements.
  • Lead cloud deployments and modernization efforts across AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, on-premises, tactical, and containerized environments by aligning infrastructure, platform, networking, identity, and security requirements.
  • Implement and optimize DevSecOps pipelines by integrating CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, automated security scanning, configuration management, and secure deployment practices.
  • Ensure cloud architectures comply with DoW cloud standards, Impact Levels 4, 5, and 6+, Zero Trust principles, RMF requirements, cybersecurity controls, and mission assurance needs.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineers, developers, cybersecurity personnel, operators, program leadership, and government stakeholders throughout architecture, implementation, testing, and sustainment activities.
  • Support architecture reviews, technical planning, risk identification, trade studies, and stakeholder briefings by translating complex cloud design considerations into clear recommendations and executable actions.
