Senior Systems Engineer

• Lead the engineering team in leveraging AI tools to design, generate, and deploy CDN infrastructure using Terraform

• Formulate and refine complex AI prompts to consistently produce secure and optimized Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Evaluate AI-generated outputs for quality and efficiency, adjusting prompting strategies to account for model hallucinations, nuances, and limitations.

• Establish best practices, standardized workflows, and review processes for the team regarding AI interaction and prompt engineering.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define architectural requirements and translate them into effective AI directives.

• TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph

• 12 yrs., B.S. in a technical discipline or 4 additional yrs. in place of B.S.

Candidates are required to have the following skills:

• Experience leading software engineering teams and managing technical infrastructure projects.

• Experience with prompt engineering, demonstrating a deep understanding of the nuances, capabilities, and limitations of modern LLMs

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, with practical experience utilizing Terraform for resource deployment

• Experience reviewing, validating, and debugging AI-generated code or infrastructure configurations for production environments.

• Knowledge of Content Delivery Network (CDN) concepts and cloud-based hosting environments such as Cloudflare.

• Familiarity with Git and Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence) to manage team workflows and version control.

Candidates are desired to have the following skills:

• Experience utilizing prompt management frameworks and AI evaluation metrics to track model performance.

• Experience translating and communicating complex AI and infrastructure concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.

Salary Range: $168,000 to $240,000
