Job description
Insight Global is seeking an Enterprise Data Architect to join the team of a local manufacturing client. In this role, the Enterprise Data Architect would be responsible for working in partnership with IT groups and business partners to identify opportunities to enhance data delivery across the enterprise. Through these relationships, this position will define, develop, and execute the Donaldson Company’s global enterprise data strategy. This role focuses on delivering scalable, governed, and business-aligned, data solutions across structured and unstructured cloud based, data domains, with a strong emphasis on Master Data Management (MDM), core persona modeling, and modern data and analytics platforms including Snowflake, Tableau, and Oracle for a leader in the manufacturing space.
This individual will serve as a strategic bridge between business and IT, ensuring data is treated as a critical enterprise asset and enabling data-driven decision-making at scale enabling business and IT. This is a hybrid role that will require onsite collaboration in Bloomington, MN.
Requirements
College, university, or equivalent degree in relevant technical discipline, or relevant equivalent experience required.

10+ years of relevant professional experience.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience managing high-level technical delivery.

Strong expertise in modern data modernization, architecture, & enablement including data lakes, data warehouses, data marts, and master data management.

Deep understanding of data governance, privacy, and security standards

Proven ability to design and implement scalable data platforms, frameworks, and architecture patterns.

Experience influencing leadership and key stakeholders on technology solutions.

Experience applying knowledge of the new processes and concepts in IT management, structure and organization.

3+ years of ands-on experience leading data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, and enterprise data lakes.

Strong experience in solution architecture for cloud-based data platforms.

Experience in data integration, data processing, streaming, and messaging technologies.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders effectively. - Exposure to multi-cloud environments, including AWS and Azure.

Knowledge of machine learning pipelines and data enablement for AI solutions.

Experience supporting AI-driven data product strategies.
-
Relevant certifications in data management, cloud architecture, or engineering.

Manufacturing industry experience.
