Job description

ASR International is seeking a GIS Analyst to develop, maintain, and support geospatial databases, maps, and CADD/GIS products for 50 CES at Schriever SFB. Develop and maintain geospatial databases, applications, and tools for architectural, engineering, and base management use.
Create and revise maps, charts, and cartographic products from source materials, aerial photography, drafting, digitizing, and editing.
Display and analyze geographic data related to land use, infrastructure, demographics, transportation, and the Base Comprehensive Plan.
Update and coordinate CADD/GIS data (maps, real estate, engineering) and advise on tools and techniques.
Maintain current and historic infrastructure information used for planning and asset management.

Requirements

Associate’s degree in science; OR at least 2 years of experience in a technical field; AND
Extensive knowledge of geospatial concepts, theories, principles, and practices.
Basic understanding of cartography, remote sensing, and scientific data visualization.
