Job description

100% remote must live in CO at the time of the hire.
Candidate should be local to CO but able to pick-up or drop off their equipment in Denver.

This position is up to 9 months with the option of extension, and the client is in Denver, CO

Duties:

Responsibilities include developing and executing software tests and documenting results in order to ensure software runs smoothly and effectively.
May involve troubleshooting issues and debugging software., * Advanced scripting in more than one language (Java, Python, bash, etc.)

The work is remote, but we required our contractors to be local.
The QA tester is responsible for managing test activities throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to test IDXR functionality and integrations.
IDXR is an API based application and does not have any GUI functionality.
This includes developing, planning and executing system tests based on adherence to user stories and requirements, identifying and managing test data and

Requirements

May require a bachelor’s degree and at least 9 years or equivalent experience in a related area. Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and technologies in the field.

Hard Skills:

Expert/Advanced:
Ability to use write custom SQL to evaluate application results and create test data
API unit testing with Postman or similar tools
API performance testing with JMeter or similar tools
Fiddler/Selenium/JMeter

Previous Experience:

Azure DevOps
AWS Workspaces
CI/CD Pipelines
d environments (AWS/Azure)
Agile methodology + boards
Proven ability to script automation in a programming language such as; Python or Java.
3+ years designing and executing manual and automated testing
