Principal Engineer (Java/Spring Boot) [$348k/yr+] TS/SCI-FS Poly

• Serve as a technical anchor and feature lead to architect, design, and implement new software capabilities.
• Translate complex requirements into robust, documented technical designs using Object-Oriented principles.
• Coordinate with integrated feature teams and systems engineering to ensure high-quality delivery across the full development lifecycle., * Lead architectural analysis and design documentation, ensuring seamless integration without technical debt.
• Act as feature lead driving the definition of done from initial concept through development, testing, and deployment.
• Deconstruct high-level feature designs into actionable tasks, track feature status, and mentor engineering team members.
• Conduct comprehensive merge request reviews to maintain code quality, security protocols, and performance benchmarks.
• Develop and maintain software leveraging Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, MongoDB, Docker, Kubernetes, and the ELK stack.
