SAP S/4HANA Project Manager - Manufacturing

We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Project Manager to join a major S/4HANA transformation programme within a large manufacturing environment.

This is a hands-on Project Manager role for someone who is highly organised, delivery-focused and able to join an established programme and hit the ground running immediately.

The programme is at an advanced and critical stage, so we are not looking for someone who needs significant time to understand how to operate within a large SAP programme. You will need to quickly establish relationships with key stakeholders, understand priorities and dependencies, take ownership of actions and drive activity through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of assigned SAP project activities and drive them through to completion.
• Work closely with business, IT, SAP functional teams and third-party delivery partners.
• Run and support project meetings and workshops, ensuring clear actions, owners and deadlines.
• Maintain strong project governance, including RAID management, plans, dependencies and status reporting.
• Proactively identify issues, risks and blockers and ensure they are escalated and resolved.
• Coordinate activity across multiple SAP and business workstreams.
• Challenge stakeholders appropriately and ensure agreed actions are followed through.
• Provide clear, concise updates to programme leadership.
• Support the programme through the final stages of delivery, go-live and hypercare.

• Strong track record as a Project Manager on SAP programmes.
• Previous SAP S/4HANA programme experience.
• Experience working within manufacturing, supply chain, logistics or similarly complex operational environments.
• Excellent project management fundamentals - planning, governance, RAID, actions, dependencies and stakeholder management.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-moving programme with multiple workstreams and third parties.
• Able to quickly understand a complex programme and begin contributing immediately.
• Confident dealing with senior stakeholders and experienced SAP delivery teams.
• Proactive, organised and comfortable taking ownership rather than waiting for direction.
