What you’ll be doing
You will design, build and deploy SAP objects across multiple workstreams ensuring best practices are being followed. This will involve working with our partners and other areas of the business as appropriate. This is a great opportunity for a seasoned SAP Engineer to step up and work on a significant Programme and support building the SAP FS-BP team from the ground up.
Provide technical expertise at all stages of the delivery lifecycle, including providing technical leadership and consultancy to stakeholders. Requirements
As a minimum requirement, you’ll have:
- Proven experience delivering SAP ABAP developments in complex environments
- SAP ABAP development experience; must have experience with ABAP OO, ABAP Dictionary (DDIC), Reports, Enhancements, BADI, BAPI, RFCs, and ALV Reports
- Skilled in developing Gateway OData Services and CDS Views
- Experience working with, and developing solutions that span both on-premise and cloud hosted technologies
- Experience of working on SAP applications in Banking and financial services including payments, core banking, accounting, business partner data, BDT, and complex interfaces is highly desirable
- Good understanding of SAP Solution Manager, Change and Release Management (ChaRM) and other SAP tools
- Solid understanding of S/4HANA architecture and modern integration patterns, specifically using REST APIs
