Network Engineer

EMEA Network Architect / Senior Network Engineer (Data Center)Location: Hybrid (Madrid)Contract: 6 Months + extensionsJob DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced EMEA Network Architect / Senior Network Engineer with deep, hands-on expertise in Juniper-based Data Center fabrics to design, build, and support modern EVPN/VXLAN environments across our EMEA estate.

This is a senior, delivery-focused role for someone equally comfortable producing HLD/LLD documentation and getting into the CLI to troubleshoot a live spine-leaf fabric.Mandatory Technical Skills7+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise Data Center networking.Strong expertise with Juniper EX and QFX platforms.Advanced knowledge of JunOS, including operational troubleshooting, upgrades, automation, and configuration management.Proven experience designing and operating EVPN/VXLAN-based Data Center fabrics.Deep understanding of:BGP EVPN Control PlaneVXLAN Overlay NetworksSpine-Leaf architecturesAnycast GatewayLayer 2/Layer 3 extension strategiesExperience with Juniper Virtual Chassis and Virtual Chassis Fabric (VCF) deployments.Strong routing knowledge:BGPOSPFIS-IS (preferred)MPLS basicsExperience with Data Center migration and transformation projects.Strong troubleshooting capabilities across:Underlay networksOverlay networksRouting and switchingMulticastHigh availability designsPreferred Technical SkillsExperience with automation:PythonAnsibleREST APIsInfrastructure as Code principlesExperience integrating physical and virtual networking environments.Familiarity with VMware NSX networking concepts.Experience with cloud connectivity:Azure ExpressRouteHybrid networking architecturesKnowledge of load balancing technologies (AVI, F5, Citrix ADC). Architecture & Design ExperienceAbility to create High Level and Low Level Designs (HLD/LLD).
