SAP Development Lead (S/4HANA / ABAP) H/F

We are looking for an experienced SAP Development Lead to join a major international ERP transformation program involving the deployment of a Finance Core Model based on SAP S/4HANA and a Procurement solution.

The project is currently moving from pilot and deployment phases into wider international rollouts. The SAP landscape includes a significant integration scope with approximately 50 interfaces across multiple enterprise systems.

This position is focused on technical leadership, governance, quality assurance, and architecture oversight rather than hands-on development.

Key Responsibilities :

As SAP Development Lead, you will:

• Act as the technical authority for the SAP Core Model across Build and Run activities.
• Review and challenge technical designs, solution approaches, and effort estimates proposed by the implementation partner.
• Define SAP integration and data extraction standards and patterns.
• Ensure the quality, consistency, scalability, and maintainability of SAP technical deliverables.
• Review ABAP developments and technical configurations to ensure compliance with development standards and performance requirements.
• Own and maintain:
• Development standards and best practices
• Technical development governance
• ATC (ABAP Test Cockpit) configuration and rules
• Approve
• Technical Specification Documents (TSD)
• ATC validations
• Technical sections of Design Authority documentation
• Technical Unit Tests (TUT)
• Work closely with Finance, Procurement, and Project stakeholders to ensure alignment between business and technical requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and support during SIT, UAT, and Go-Live phases.
• Drive technical quality across all SAP developments delivered by external partners.

Please note: very limited hands-on development is expected. The role is primarily focused on leadership, review, governance, and technical decision-making.

• Strong experience in SAP technical delivery and ABAP development.
• Proven experience leading SAP S/4HANA implementation or transformation programs.
• Deep understanding of WRICEF objects and SAP development lifecycle.
• Experience reviewing and validating developments delivered by third-party integrators.
• Strong expertise in SAP integrations, interfaces, and technical architecture.
• Experience defining and enforcing development standards and quality processes.
• Solid understanding of ATC and SAP development governance.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously in an international environment.

Language Requirements :

• Fluent English is mandatory.
• The project environment and interactions with implementation partners are conducted entirely in English.

Nice to Have :

• Experience within Finance transformation programs.
• Knowledge of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
• Previous exposure to Coupa integrations.
• Experience in large-scale international rollouts.
