Job description

  • Design, develop and enhance innovative software products and platforms, primarily using TypeScript and Rust alongside Python
  • Contribute to both greenfield development projects and the enhancement of existing systems
  • Prototype new concepts and evaluate their technical feasibility
  • Collaborate with engineers, researchers and technical stakeholders across multiple disciplines
  • Analyse complex technical problems and develop robust solutions
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of software quality, performance and scalability
  • Develop expertise across a broad range of technologies and technical domains
  • Contribute to technical discussions and help shape engineering approaches and solutions

Requirements

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Software Engineer to join a highly innovative technology company at the forefront of advanced AI research and development. Working as part of a world-class engineering team, you will help design and develop cutting-edge software solutions that tackle complex real-world challenges. This role is particularly suited to a Software Engineer with strong TypeScript and Rust expertise, who enjoys technically challenging projects within a research-driven environment., * Strong commercial software engineering experience using TypeScript and Rust

  • Good working knowledge of Python
  • Excellent understanding of modern software engineering principles and practices
  • Experience developing high-quality, production-ready software
  • Strong academic background, including a degree in a STEM subject
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable tackling complex technical problems where there may not be an established solution
  • Ability to work both independently and within collaborative engineering teams
  • An interest in complex technical challenges, data-driven systems and emerging technologies

Benefits & conditions

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 basic per annum + comprehensive benefits package, including private health for family, enhanced pension, etc.
