Node.js/Typescript or a willingness to learn on the jobFamiliarity with scalable cloud architectures, design patterns and best practicesPractical experience with CI/CD and IaC (Infrastructure-as-code)Experience with databases & data management practices - relational databases & search enginesExperience with TDD and testable code - unit / integration / performance testingGreat verbal and written communication skills and the ability to explain complex ideas in a simple way to non-engineering teammatesAbility to zoom in and out - be comfortable with getting into the relevant low-level details while also making the optimal tradeoffs for achieving the “big picture” goalsThis is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in the officeExperience you may haveA degree in CS or equivalent is a plusPractical experience with building scalable & highly reliable cloud systems that support product used by millions of users around the world 24/7Familiarity with modern JS frameworksExperience working in cross functional teamsAn eye for user behaviour and design and attention to detailPlease note that this is a hybrid role with a requirement of in office presence, 3 days per week
