Job description
The Systems Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining the cloud and on-premises infrastructure that supports critical tolling and mobility platforms.
This role is ideal for a systems-focused engineer who enjoys working across infrastructure, cloud environments, automation, CI/CD, testing, and software. The successful candidate will help ensure systems are reliable, scalable, secure, and available while collaborating closely with software and infrastructure teams., * Design, build, configure, and maintain Linux-based systems and infrastructure
- Support both cloud and on-premises environments
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
- Automate infrastructure, testing, and operational processes
- Troubleshoot complex system, application, and infrastructure issues
- Support system integration and testing activities
- Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability
- Collaborate with software engineers to deploy and maintain applications
- Participate in system architecture and infrastructure design discussions
- Develop scripts and software tools to improve system administration and automation
- Help maintain system documentation, configuration standards, and operational procedures
- Support highly available, mission-critical transportation technology platforms
Requirements
- Professional experience in Systems Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, DevOps, or a related field
- Strong Linux experience
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices
- Experience working with cloud infrastructure
- Hands-on experience with system testing and troubleshooting
- Some software development or scripting experience
- Strong understanding of infrastructure, networking, operating systems, and application environments
- Ability to troubleshoot issues across both software and infrastructure layers
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, * Experience working with both cloud and on-premises infrastructure
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or similar cloud platforms
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools
- Experience with containers and orchestration technologies
- Experience supporting mission-critical or highly available systems
- Background in transportation, tolling, mobility, or other large-scale distributed systems
Work Authorization
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder.
