  • Support the software design of the service-oriented Synthetic Environment architecture based on different project requirements
  • Continuously integrate and test the developed services and implement automated software integration tests within the CI pipeline
  • Apply DevOps principles and tools and support software verification activities
  • Analyze the causes of reported issues and implement fixes in distributed real-time simulation systems using asynchronous programming
  • Document software designs, interfaces and tests

Requirements

  • Completed Master’s degree or Diplom in computer science or a related discipline
  • At least three years of proven professional experience in software development with C++ is mandatory
  • Experience in developing distributed or service-oriented software systems is mandatory
  • Experience with synthetic environments for training simulators is an advantage
  • Interest in tactical or military flight simulators, software development and integration is required
  • Very good knowledge of modern C++ and asynchronous programming is required
  • Knowledge of CMake, Conan 2, Git and Jenkins as well as Docker or Podman is required
  • English at least at negotiation level
  • Team player with a proactive working style
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Benefits & conditions

  • Challenging assignment directly at the customer with employment at HESYS Engineering
  • Personal support from the first interview through to the assignment
  • Clear feedback, short communication paths and fixed contacts
  • Insight into specialized tasks with well-known industrial customers

Why HESYS

  • Specialization in technical roles in aerospace, defence and high-tech
  • Long-standing experience in demanding engineering and industrial environments
