Job description

Install, configure, maintain, and optimize Windows servers, workstations, and associated technologies to ensure system performance and availability.
Administer and support MECM, Active Directory, Group Policy, and enterprise endpoint management solutions.
Develop, test, and deploy automation solutions using PowerShell and other scripting tools to improve operational efficiency.
Monitor system health, remediate vulnerabilities, manage patching activities, and implement security controls across Windows environments.
Support IIS, SSL certificate management, backup and disaster recovery processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues.

Requirements

5+ years of experience supporting Windows Server environments, systems administration, or Windows engineering initiatives.
Strong experience with MECM/SCCM, Active Directory, Group Policy, PowerShell, Windows Server, patch management, and endpoint administration.
Experience with vulnerability remediation, system automation, IIS administration, backup and recovery, and enterprise infrastructure support.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Active DOE Q Clearance or Top Secret Clearance.

Benefits & conditions

Salary Range: $170,000 - $190,000 depending on experience

This position is on-site in Washington, DC. The Windows Engineer will design, implement, and support enterprise Windows infrastructure, server environments, and endpoint management solutions, with a strong focus on Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM).
