Job description

  • Install, configure, maintain, and optimize Windows servers, workstations, and associated technologies to ensure system performance and availability.
  • Administer and support MECM, Active Directory, Group Policy, and enterprise endpoint management solutions.
  • Develop, test, and deploy automation solutions using PowerShell and other scripting tools to improve operational efficiency.
  • Monitor system health, remediate vulnerabilities, manage patching activities, and implement security controls across Windows environments.
  • Support IIS, SSL certificate management, backup and disaster recovery processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience supporting Windows Server environments, systems administration, or Windows engineering initiatives.
  • Strong experience with MECM/SCCM, Active Directory, Group Policy, PowerShell, Windows Server, patch management, and endpoint administration.
  • Experience with vulnerability remediation, system automation, IIS administration, backup and recovery, and enterprise infrastructure support.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Active DOE Q Clearance or Top Secret Clearance.

Benefits & conditions

  • Salary Range: $170,000 - $190,000 depending on experience

The Windows Engineer will design, implement, and support enterprise Windows infrastructure, server environments, and endpoint management solutions, with a strong focus on Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM).
