Job description

Agentic Workflow Engine: autonomous, multi-step workflows for tax processes (documents, deadlines, client communication)
Document Intelligence: extraction, classification, and analysis of tax-relevant documents (P&L statements, receipts, tax platform exports)
RAG, context & prompt engineering
Tax platform API integration with semantic processing of financial data
Real-time financial analysis features (P&L analysis, liquidity planning, KPI dashboards)

Small team, direct communication, no long approval chains. You’ll work closely with product and the founding team - your decisions have immediate product impact. Remote-first, with occasional in-person sessions.

Requirements

Must-have:
3+ years Typescript
Proven production-level experience with LLM integration
In-depth understanding of retrieval-augmented generation & context engineering
Experience with AI and agentic frameworks (AI SDK or similar)
Strong backend skills: database design, micro-service architectures, infrastructure
Comfort building in early-stage product environments
Nice to have:
Familiarity with tax or accounting context (chart of accounts, P&L structure)
Experience with document parsing (PDFs, OCR, table extraction)
Experience in model training
