The Role:As a Software Engineer III at Seegrid, you will work in a tightly knit development team to create the next generation of warehouse automation robot applications and control systems. You’ll work with product management, customer facing teams and other engineers to conceive, design, and implement new products and features that support the exciting possibilities when robots, human, and the unconstrained real world interact.Responsibilities:Work with the team to design and implement features using C++Perform code reviews and provide meaningful feedback to your peersDemonstrate problem-solving & technical innovationHelp troubleshoot issues that occur at customer sitesWork closely with product and service teams to continuously improve great productsRequired Experience:3-5 years of experience with designing and implementing features using C++Strong knowledge of C++Ability to write testable and maintainable codeExperience working with LinuxExperience with ROS 2Ability to make pragmatic trade-offs under delivery pressureComfortable working cross-functionally with product and other engineering teamsStrong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical decisions clearlyDesired Experience:Experience with PythonFamiliarity with mobile robots operating in manufacturing or warehouse facilitiesSeegrid has been recognized regionally and nationally as a Best-Place-to-Work.
