Job description
The Lead Analyst Enterprise Data & AI Governance provides strategic leadership for the development and execution of enterprise Artificial Intelligence, advanced analytics, intelligent automation, and digital transformation initiatives across AES Renewables & Power. The role partners across business and technology organizations to develop scalable AI capabilities, establish governance frameworks, drive enterprise adoption, and deliver measurable business value.
Primary Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of the AI adoption strategy for AES Renewables & Power.

Identify, prioritize, and deliver enterprise AI initiatives aligned with strategic business objectives.

Establish enterprise AI governance frameworks, standards, best practices, and Responsible AI principles.

Lead the enterprise AI product portfolio from strategy through implementation, adoption, optimization, and value realization.

Partner with Digital, IT, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Operations, Asset Management, Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain leaders and other Renewables and Power departments to deliver enterprise AI capabilities and governance.

Drive digital transformation through AI, intelligent automation, advanced analytics, and data-driven decision support.

Define AI roadmaps, success metrics, adoption strategies, and business value measurements.

Influence executive leadership through strategic recommendations, business cases, and enterprise planning.

Mentor analysts and business stakeholders while advancing enterprise AI maturity and organizational readiness.

Represent Renewables & Power in enterprise AI governance, strategic planning, and cross-functional leadership forums including the Renewables and Power AI Council.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Analytics, or related field

Renewables and Power Experience Preferred
-
4+ years leading enterprise AI, analytics, digital transformation, or technology initiatives.

Experience leading highly complex cross-functional initiatives involving executive stakeholders.

Experience developing and executing enterprise AI or digital strategies.
-
Strong knowledge of AI governance, Responsible AI, cybersecurity, and enterprise data governance.

Experience managing AI products through the full product lifecycle.

Demonstrated success delivering measurable business value through AI and analytics.

Excellent executive communication, stakeholder management, and strategic planning skills.

Ability to influence enterprise decisions without direct managerial authority.

The total compensation package for this position also includes annual bonus. The benefits offered for this position are: medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, 401(k) eligibility, and paid time off (including vacation, sick leave time, and parental leave).
