Job description

Join Our Team as an Integration Engineer and Drive Innovation in Hardware Systems

Are you passionate about engineering solutions that push the boundaries of technology? As an Integration Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in troubleshooting, validating, and resolving complex hardware issues across cutting-edge compute, controls, networking, and sensor systems. Be at the forefront of advancing hardware reliability and performance in a dynamic, inclusive environment that values diverse perspectives and teamwork.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a hardware, test, or systems validation engineer
  • Proven expertise in electrical/physical layer debugging across multiple subsystems
  • Hands-on troubleshooting skills in domains such as compute hardware, vehicle controls, networking, or sensor hardware (camera, lidar, radar, thermal imaging)
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools like oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers, multimeters, and traffic generators
  • Strong ability to triage hardware issues, distinguish faults from software problems, and conduct root cause analysis
  • Comfort working in ambiguous situations involving multiple subsystems and cross-functional collaboration

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of Precision Time Protocol (PTP), GMSL2, and HPC technologies
  • Scripting skills in Python or Bash for automation and log parsing
  • Experience with embedded Linux, automotive networking, or storage/NVMe subsystems
  • Effective communicator with a demonstrated ability to partner with support operations and design teams

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in fast-paced, innovative environments, ideally in autonomous systems or automotive industries

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to work on-site at our Foster City location at least three days a week
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

If you’re eager to apply your hardware troubleshooting expertise in a collaborative, forward-thinking organization committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, we want to hear from you. Take the next step in your career and join us in shaping the future of technology-apply now!
