Job description

As a Veeva Solution Architect (AI), you will make an impact by leading the design and implementation of intelligent Life Sciences solutions across Veeva platforms. You will be a valued member of our Life Sciences Technology team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders, product owners, and leadership across Commercial, Medical, Regulatory, Clinical, and Quality domains.

In this role, you will:

  • Define end-to-end architecture for Veeva Vault applications, including PromoMats, MedComms, Medical Information, QualityDocs/QMS, Safety, RIM, and CTMS/eTMF, and lead platform modernization and transformation initiatives.

  • Design AI and GenAI-powered solutions for content generation, regulatory document summarization, knowledge management, and intelligent search, integrating OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, Agentic AI, and RAG frameworks with Veeva platforms.

  • Architect integrations between Veeva Vault and enterprise systems such as SAP, Salesforce, Informatica, MuleSoft, and data lakes.

  • Establish governance, scalability, security, compliance, and responsible AI standards for regulated environments.

  • Lead workshops, discovery sessions, and architecture reviews with stakeholders, and support RFPs, solution estimations, and roadmap development.

  • Mentor architects, leads, and development teams.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of overall experience, including 5+ years of experience in Veeva Platform Architecture.

  • Hands-on experience with one or more Veeva Vault applications (PromoMats, MedComms, Medical, Quality, RIM, Safety, or Clinical), including Vault Objects, Workflows, Lifecycles, SDK, MDL, API Framework, and Security Model.

  • Experience with Azure OpenAI, OpenAI APIs, Copilot Studio, vector databases, RAG architecture, and AI agents, along with NLP, document intelligence, and prompt engineering.

  • Experience with REST APIs, MuleSoft, Azure and AWS services, and event-driven architecture.

  • Strong understanding of Life Sciences business processes across Commercial Operations, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, Clinical Operations, and Quality & Compliance.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or a related field.

  • Experience leading global transformation programs.

  • AI implementation experience in GxP-regulated environments.

Benefits & conditions

The annual salary for this position is between $130,000- $150,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
