Job description

Design, configure, develop, and maintain Salesforce applications, custom objects, fields, validation rules, approval processes, reports, dashboards, and security models. Develop and maintain Apex Classes, Apex Triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and related Salesforce customizations. Develop Salesforce solutions supporting: o Student records o Admissions o Degree programs o Courses and curricula o Faculty information o Academic planning o Enrollment management o Graduation processing Develop workflow automation using Salesforce Flow and related platform capabilities. Design and maintain Salesforce security models, roles, permissions, and application-level controls. Maintain source code and Salesforce metadata within Government-approved repositories. Manage Salesforce release pipelines using Salesforce DX/SFDX, Git, CI/CD tools, and Salesforce Sandbox strategies. Implement event-driven solutions using Salesforce Platform Events and Change Data Capture (CDC). Develop Salesforce reports, dashboards, data extracts, and analytics. Conduct stakeholder requirements-gathering sessions and develop user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, process diagrams, and functional requirements. Analyze current-state and future-state academic and administrative business processes. Identify opportunities to automate manual or inefficient processes. Design and support integrations between Salesforce and external applications using REST and SOAP web services/APIs. Work with JSON, XML, and API-based integrations. Support legacy-system data migration, cleansing, transformation, loading, reconciliation, and validation. Perform unit, integration, system, and user acceptance testing. Prepare test plans, scripts, results, and defect-remediation documentation. Maintain system architecture, technical design, configuration, integration, deployment, and administrative documentation. Provide troubleshooting, knowledge transfer, training materials, and end-user support. Required Salesforce Certifications:

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II
  • Salesforce Certified Application Architect
  • Salesforce Certified Integration Architect

Requirements

Minimum 2 years implementing accessibility requirements for internal/public-facing web applications. Section 508 application design and testing experience. WCAG 2.1 AA implementation experience. Accessibility testing and remediation experience. Experience designing accessible Salesforce forms, workflows, reports, and user interfaces. Usability reviews and accessibility validation testing. Preferred / Highly Desired Experience Salesforce Education Cloud implementation experience. Salesforce Education Data Architecture (EDA) experience. Student Information System modernization or higher-education Salesforce projects. Admissions, Registrar, Student Records, Enrollment, Curriculum, Degree Audit, or Academic Planning system experience. Salesforce Platform Events and Change Data Capture. SFDX/Git-based Salesforce DevOps. Automated CI/CD implementation. PMD/static code-analysis experience. Salesforce data migration from legacy SIS platforms. Government or DoD Salesforce experience. Strong technical documentation and knowledge-transfer experience.
