Senior SAP GRC Consultant

We are seeking an experienced SAP GRC Consultant to lead and support a multi-year SAP GRC modernization initiative. This individual will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring a successful upgrade of our SAP GRC environment while maintaining system stability and security across integrated platforms.

The ideal candidate will possess strong SAP GRC technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to consult with leadership on future-state governance, risk, and compliance strategies. This role will support planning, testing, implementation, documentation, and ongoing operational support through the completion of the upgrade project and beyond.

• Lead planning, analysis, and execution activities related to the SAP GRC upgrade from the current version to SAP GRC 12.
• Partner with SAP NS2 and internal stakeholders throughout upgrade planning, testing, deployment, and post-upgrade support activities.
• Assess current-state configurations and identify required changes to support new GRC functionality and standards.
• Ensure a successful upgrade without disrupting existing integrations, workflows, or business operations.
• Validate all system integrations and connectors following the upgrade, including connections to: SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba, and other connected SAP applications and platforms
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues impacting connectivity, access controls, workflows, and compliance processes.
• Monitor and maintain standard GRC scheduled jobs, workflows, and access management processes.
• Ensure critical business functions remain operational with no disruption to connected systems.

• 10 years of SAP GRC experience. Ability to complete an upgrade from Version 12- Project Management experience and the ability to communicate effectively with both the business and technical teams (Consulting/Client facing)
• Security experience - Role development, role changes, etc.
• Test/automated test scripting. Ability to build out test scripts
• Hands-on experience with SAP RISE environments, particularly deployments hosted on AWS Hyperscaler infrastructure and managed through SAP NS2.
• Extensive knowledge of SAP rule sets and role frameworks across multiple functional areas, including HR, Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Service Management (CSM), Environmental Services (EVS), and custom-developed SAP modules.
• Expertise with SAP SU25 authorization upgrade activities, including post-upgrade authorization analysis, role remediation, security validation, and user access optimization. - Public sector experience
