Job description

Design and implement secure cloud infrastructure across multiple environments
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code
Build and manage secure CI/CD pipelines
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
Ensure compliance with government security standards
Optimize application performance and reliability
Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans
Provide knowledge transfer and technical guidance to teams
Drive continuous improvement in cloud operations and security

Requirements

Minimum 5+ years of DevOps or Cloud Engineering experience
Proven experience developing and deploying cloud-native applications
Experience implementing and maintaining secure CI/CD pipelines
3+ years of hands-on AWS experience
Minimum 1 year of AWS GovCloud experience
Experience with cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, FISMA, etc.)
Experience managing multiple environments (Development, Test, Staging, Production)
Strong Agile team collaboration experience

Technical Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, plus 6+ years of experience
AWS GovCloud expertise
Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
Python and/or Bash scripting
GitLab CI/CD or similar CI/CD tools
Docker, Kubernetes, ECS
AWS CloudWatch and monitoring solutions
Cloud networking concepts
Identity and Access Management (IAM)
Git/version control systems
Automated testing and testing frameworks, Onsite in Washington, DC AWS GovCloud experience Terraform/IaC expertise CI/CD pipeline implementation experience Strong cloud security and compliance background
