Job description
PBG is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to support a high-profile federal financial and regulatory modernization initiative within a complex enterprise environment. This role will lead the strategic planning, design, and evolution of enterprise-wide technology architecture to support mission operations, modernization objectives, data integration, security compliance, and long-term technology transformation efforts., The ideal candidate will have experience supporting large federal financial, regulatory, oversight, or highly regulated environments and will possess strong expertise in enterprise architecture, systems integration, cloud modernization, governance, and strategic technology planning. The Enterprise Architect will collaborate with executive leadership, cybersecurity teams, infrastructure engineers, application teams, and business stakeholders to guide enterprise technology decisions and modernization strategies., * Lead the development and maintenance of enterprise architecture strategies, frameworks, standards, and technology roadmaps
- Analyze current-state systems, infrastructure, applications, and business processes to identify modernization opportunities and architectural gaps
- Design target-state enterprise architecture solutions focused on scalability, interoperability, security, resiliency, and operational efficiency
- Provide architectural oversight across modernization, cloud transformation, system integration, and enterprise technology initiatives
- Collaborate with leadership, engineering teams, cybersecurity personnel, and operational stakeholders to align technology solutions with business and mission objectives
- Develop and enforce enterprise architecture governance processes, standards, and best practices
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to improve enterprise performance, automation, and operational effectiveness
- Support enterprise technology investment planning and modernization decision-making efforts
- Ensure architecture alignment with federal cybersecurity and compliance frameworks including NIST, FISMA, Zero Trust, and risk management standards
- Develop architecture diagrams, models, technical documentation, and executive briefings for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Support cross-functional coordination between infrastructure, development, cybersecurity, data, and operations teams
- Provide strategic guidance on enterprise integration, platform modernization, and long-term technology evolution
Requirements
Do you have experience in Stakeholder management?, * Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, systems architecture, or IT modernization within large-scale enterprise or federal environments
- Strong experience developing enterprise architecture roadmaps, governance frameworks, and modernization strategies
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, FEAF, Zachman, or similar methodologies
- Experience designing cloud, hybrid, and enterprise integration architectures
- Strong understanding of infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity architecture, and systems interoperability
- Experience supporting highly regulated, financial, oversight, compliance, or mission-critical environments
- Familiarity with federal cybersecurity and compliance standards including NIST, FISMA, and Zero Trust principles
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience briefing executive leadership
- Ability to operate in fast-paced, highly visible enterprise environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting federal financial regulatory, banking oversight, compliance, or economic policy environments
- Experience supporting enterprise modernization initiatives involving large-scale data, reporting, or analytical systems
- Familiarity with enterprise data governance and secure information-sharing environments
- TOGAF, AWS, Azure, SAFe, or other enterprise/cloud architecture certifications preferred
- Experience working within Agile and DevSecOps environments preferred
