Job description

Assist in modernization of large-scale web applications Deliver new applications that are intuitive and feel natural for users Provide operation and maintenance for existing operations as well as make updates and maintenance for existing applications Ensure software documentation is current Collaborate with system architects and work with team as well as independently Enhance current applications and design new applications Define technical vision for new applications, including front - end UI/UX considerations Collaborate with end users, government leads, and project managers to gather requirements, identify areas for improvements, and implement technical solutions Use customer - provided version control systems for code management Produce clear, maintainable code and thorough technical documentation Ensure systems work with AWS cloud as well as Linux environments Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer. Requirements

Eligible for Public Trust 5+ years of experience developing web applications Strong experience developing with web development technologies, including semantic HTML, CSS, JavaScript and TypeScript, DOM, Model/View/Controller (or similar) and JSON Extensive experience with the Angular framework is required Experience with server-side technologies, including NodeJS, ExpressJS and NP Familiarity with functional and event-driven programming concepts (callbacks, promises/futures, streaming, and reactive programming) Experience coding algorithms to process complex data structures, e.g., multi-level combinations of objects, lists and hash tables Experience working with databases (SQL, Elasticsearch and MongoDB) and handling data through pipelines, ETL processes, and various file formats Extensive experience with Git source code control, including advanced operations like rebasing and squashing Knowledge of Medical Subject Headings or other medical terminologies (MeSH) is a plus Experienced in AWS Cloud Development EC2, S3 and etc. is a plus Hands on experience developing in with Unix/Linux environments is a plus Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Strong attention to details and solid documentation skills Self-starter able to work well independently and meet deadlines Bachelor’s Degree
