Job description
The selected candidate will be responsible for monitoring test infrastructure systems, applications, and processes to ensure issues are identified, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner. This role also includes supporting server, router, and firewall configuration, as well as performing security management and application performance optimization activities in an environment made up of VMware server hosts, Windows and Linux guest servers, and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI). Additional responsibilities include: \n \u2022 Maintaining multiple virtual server clusters and addressing system scan findings, vulnerability management patching, and Active Directory configuration issues.\n \u2022 Using enterprise monitoring tools to detect, assess, and respond to alerts.\n \u2022 Providing technical support to partner workgroups on overlapping efforts while maintaining strong interdepartmental collaboration.\n \u2022 Managing Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVAs) and system security scanning in accordance with applicable System Security Plans, ensuring vulnerabilities are identified and remediated quickly and accurately.\n \u2022 Initiating IAVA responses and system security scans, completing remediation actions, deploying patches and security updates to designated sites, and executing monthly security scans.\n \u2022 Identifying and resolving hardware and software problems.\n \u2022 Proactively notifying customers when test infrastructure delays may affect their ability to complete business functions on time and communicating system outages and publishing status updates to users, as needed.\n \u2022 Authoring and maintaining clear, accurate, and concise documentation.\n \u2022 Responding to calls and emails in a timely and professional manner.\n \u2022 Planning and implementing IT enhancements and supporting project-related work.\n \u2022 Responding to system administration, operations, and maintenance issues on an on-call basis when required.\n
Requirements
u2022 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field and 12 years of prior relevant experience. Additional experience may be substituted for a degree.\n \u2022 Must have at least 7 years of Windows administration experience.\n \u2022 Must have at least 7 years of experience in information security management, with demonstrated expertise in security governance, risk management, compliance, and operational security functions.\n \u2022 Must have at least 5 years of experience with each of the following:\n o Implementing and managing Windows Active Directory and DNS environments\n o Creating and managing Group Policy Objects (GPOs)\n o Microsoft SCCM\n o Microsoft Exchange administration and Exchange Management Shell\n \u2022 Must have experience with Windows Command Line, PowerShell, and PowerShell scripting.\n \u2022 Strong understanding of advanced security protocols, standards, and information security principles is a must.\n \u2022 Experience with software and security architectures.\n \u2022 Hands-on experience with IAVA management.\n \u2022 Hands-on experience supporting users, optimizing system operations, and monitoring enterprise IT systems.\n \u2022 Commitment to best practices, including compliance with maintenance windows and change control procedures.\n \u2022 Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems, VMware, and networking technologies including switches, routers, LANs, and cabling.\n \u2022 Must have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.\n \u2022 \nClearance Required: Must have TS/SCI with Polygraph.\n, u2022 Experience documenting and supporting security accreditation and certification activities.\n \u2022 Experience with network security technologies, including multi-domain solutions, PKI, SSPs, and vulnerability assessments.\n \u2022 Experience with data center design and configuration, including rack-and-stack, power planning, and equipment placement.\n \u2022 Experience with VMware.\n \u2022 Experience using automation tools such as Ansible or SaltStack.\n \u2022 Experience serving in a System Administrator role supporting software configuration management and development environments.\n
