Job description

We are seeking an experienced Performance Engineer with strong expertise in Performance Testing and Performance Engineering to design, execute, analyze, and optimize performance testing initiatives for enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with LoadRunner Enterprise (LRE), HP LoadRunner, VuGen, JMeter, Dynatrace, and Splunk, along with strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills. Key Responsibilities

Design and execute performance test strategies, plans, and scenarios.
Develop performance scripts using LoadRunner, VuGen, and JMeter.
Conduct load, stress, scalability, endurance, and performance testing.
Monitor application performance using Dynatrace APM and analyze logs using Splunk.
Perform performance triage and participate in performance war rooms.
Identify performance bottlenecks and conduct root cause analysis.
Analyze heap dumps and thread dumps to identify application performance issues.
Work with Java and .NET application architectures to identify performance challenges.
Perform capacity planning and scalability analysis.
Analyze performance results and provide recommendations for application optimization.
Collaborate with developers, architects, DevOps, infrastructure, and QA teams to resolve performance issues.
Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.
Support performance testing across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
Work with containerized environments including Kubernetes, Docker, and OpenShift.
Perform database performance analysis and tuning for Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
Develop automation and utility scripts using Shell, Python, or PowerShell.

Requirements

8+ years of experience in Performance Testing / Performance Engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with LoadRunner Enterprise (LRE) / Performance Center.
Experience with HP LoadRunner and VuGen scripting.
Strong experience with JMeter.
Experience with Dynatrace APM.
Experience with Splunk Log Analysis.
Knowledge of Web HTTP/HTML and TruClient protocols.
Strong performance triage and troubleshooting skills.
Experience with bottleneck identification and Root Cause Analysis.
Hands-on experience with Heap Dump and Thread Dump Analysis.
Understanding of Java and .NET application architecture.
Strong knowledge of performance test strategy, planning, and execution.
Experience with capacity planning and scalability analysis.

Preferred Skills

Experience with AppDynamics, New Relic, or Datadog.
Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or OpenShift.
Experience integrating performance testing with CI/CD pipelines.
Database performance tuning experience with Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
