Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced IT SOX Senior Analyst to support risk, compliance, and internal control initiatives. This role will partner closely with control owners, auditors, and business stakeholders to ensure compliance with SOX requirements and strengthen the organization’s control environment., * Support the design, implementation, documentation, and testing of IT SOX controls.

  • Partner with process and control owners to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls.
  • Document business processes, control activities, and standard operating procedures.
  • Assist with audit requests, remediation efforts, and resolution of control deficiencies.
  • Review third-party SOC reports and evaluate the impact on internal controls.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors during annual audit activities.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance processes, controls, and compliance programs.
  • Help ensure audit documentation is complete, accurate, and delivered on time.

Requirements

  • Experience with SOX compliance, IT risk, or IT audit.
  • Strong knowledge of IT General Controls (ITGCs) and IT application controls.
  • Understanding of audit processes, risk assessment, and control frameworks.
  • Experience documenting processes and controls in a structured environment.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.
  • Professional certifications such as CISA, CPA, or CISM are a plus.
  • Experience working with ERP, financial, HRIS, or other enterprise business applications is preferred.
