Specialist Solutions Architect, AWSI AppMod, M&E, ASPI MEGS

This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization Industries (ASPI). Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their respective technology domains, providing the business and technical expertise to help our customers succeed. Partner teams own the strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of our key technology and consulting partners. Together they provide our customers with the expertise and scale needed to build innovative solutions for their most complex challenges., This position is part of the ASPI Media Entertainment, Gaming and Sports (MEGS), which is part of our sales organization. From this team, you partner with technical and business teams to drive go to market motions. You lead technical thought leadership for Serverless and Containers at the global level for MEGS customers. You set direction and standards for how we solve customer problems in your domain. You bring the voice of the customer into our product development roadmap. The worldwide team sees the big picture and drives a global plan so the world’s most customer obsessed technical teams can make history.

2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience

• 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• 4+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience, Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries
• Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
• Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective

The Containers and Serverless SSA will have deep expertise in AWS Serverless services including AWS Lambda, AWS Fargate, Amazon EventBridge, AWS Step Functions, and Amazon API Gateway and Container technologies such EKS, ECS, Docker, Kubernetes.
