Systems Engineer Sr - E3

Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. This position is located at a facility that requires special access., * Bachelor’s level degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field with minimum 3 years’ related professional experience

• Experience with deploying and managing/administrating Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance at the SECRET level.

Desired Skills

• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux - RHEL8., RHEL 9.

• Experience with Gitlab, Atlassian toolset, Bash Scripting and Containers (Podman/Docker)

• Engineering design and development, software development processes and Systems/Software modeling

• Ability to work independently or as a member of a team

• Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment, Test Automation, and Agile development experience

• Design and development of radar systems

• Flexibility to travel if needed
