Job description

The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Workforce Information Systems Specialist is responsible for the definition, development, testing, analysis, and maintenance of new and existing software and databases solutions for Human Resources (HR) and the Development Center (DC). The Workforce Information Specialist also provides support to customers and trains others in the use and best practice of programs

Requirements

Do you have experience in HR systems (technically supported)?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, SCF programs are established to serve a primary population comprised of Alaska Native people who are affiliated with Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI) and Alaska Native and American Indian people within SCF’s geographical service area. Employees should have a thorough understanding of the cultures and the needs of this population. Such knowledge is critical to ensure the achievement of SCF’s vision of a Native Community that enjoys physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness, and mission of working together with the Native Community to achieve wellness through health and related services:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology Human Resources, or related field; OR the equivalent in other education and/or experience.

  2. Two (2) years of full-time experience working with Human Resources Information Systems.

Native Preference:

Under P.L. 93-638, as amended, the company pursues a policy of Native preference in hiring, contracting and training. SCF Human Resources must receive certification before applicants receive preference.
