Job description

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a high-performing engineering team to foster an accountable, collaborative culture focused on continuous career growth.
  • Provide architectural leadership for secure, scalable Java microservices and cloud-native applications to enhance system performance and reliability.
  • Partner with product management and business stakeholders to define technical roadmaps, balance tech debt, and streamline project delivery.
  • Enforce rigorous engineering standards for code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and cybersecurity across all applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Programming or substantially related field is required.
  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate’s degree, or Bachelor’s degree required.

Work Experience:

  • 3 years of experience required.
  • 5 years of experience preferred.
  • 1 year of leadership or management experience preferred.
  • 3 years of experience required.
  • 5 years of experience preferred.
  • 1 year of leadership or management experience preferred.

What additional preferences we’re seeking

  • 8 years of software engineering experience developing enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
  • 3 years of direct experience leading or managing technical engineering teams, including delivery oversight and technical decision-making.
  • Documented experience building, deploying, or supporting scalable applications within a major public cloud platform (e.g., GCP, AWS, or Azure).
  • Strong experience developing RESTful APIs and integrating Microservices using synchronous and asynchronous communication patterns
