As our Senior Dev Ops / SRE, you will take ownership of the platform that our digital banking products live on - from cloud foundations and CI/CD to observability, security and incident response. On the operations side, you will design and operate our cloud landing zones on AWS and/or Azure, evolve our Kubernetes platform, expand our Terraform / Ia C estate and modernise our CI/CD pipelines (Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI or Azure Dev Ops) with automated security gates and progressive delivery. You will define SLOs and error budgets, run our observability stack (Dynatrace, Open Telemetry, Prometheus / Grafana), lead incident response and post-mortems, and harden our workloads against the threat model of a regulated financial institution. On the engineering side, you will stay close to the application code: profiling and tuning Java (Spring Boot) and Go services, optimising data access against SQL (My SQL, Postgre SQL) and Mongo DB, and supporting our frontend teams (React, Angular or Vue.Js) on build, delivery and runtime telemetry - wherever reliability, performance or security is at stake. Quality and security are shared responsibilities: you will collaborate with our managed test services, embed SAST / DAST / SCA and image scanning into pipelines, manage secrets via Vault / Key Vault / Secrets Manager, and ensure our practices stand up to the standards expected in private banking. You will use Git as the source of truth, conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers - sharing best practices and helping the team adopt tooling that improves engineering and operational efficiency.

Your profile To be successful in this role, you should have: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical field.5+ years of relevant professional experience in Dev Ops, SRE, Platform or Infrastructure Engineering, ideally in financial services or another regulated industry. Proven hands-on experience with: a major cloud provider (AWS or Azure); Kubernetes in production; Terraform (or equivalent Ia C); modern CI/CD tooling (Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, Azure Dev Ops or Jenkins); and Git. Solid command of observability (Dynatrace, Open Telemetry, Prometheus / Grafana, logging stacks), SLI / SLO definition, on-call and incident management, and load / chaos testing. Hands-on coding ability in Python, Bash, Go or Java; able to read, debug andimprove service code (Spring Boot, Node.Js or similar) and database access (SQL and No SQL). Strong security & compliance mindset: familiarity with secrets management, identity and access patterns, container/cluster hardening and frameworks such as CIS, NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2 or equivalent regulatory expectations. Solid understanding of architectural principles, distributed systems and design patterns; analytical mindset to drive non-functional requirements across teams. Strong teammate mentality, resilience, social competence and communication skills; customer-focused thinking, drive for success and a high level of dedication. Language: advanced level of English (working language with QA, UX and group stakeholders). Nice-to-have / desirable Experience operating workloads in regulated environments (FINMA, Ba Fin, FCA, GDPR) or running PCI / SOC-audited platforms. Service mesh (Istio, Linkerd), API gateways and zero-trust networking. Git Ops tooling (Argo CD, Flux), policy-as-code (OPA, Kyverno, Sentinel), supply-chain security (Sigstore, SLSA, SBOMs). Fin Ops / cloud cost optimisation experience. Practical experience with agile ways of working; general banking or financial services domain knowledge. Additional API frameworks (Node.Js, Django, Ruby on Rails) and familiarity with frontend build pipelines.
