Hardware design Engineer

Innovative Tech Solutions Inc is looking for a talented and driven Hardware Design Engineer to join our growing team in Palo Alto, CA. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and test hardware components, circuits, and systems from concept to production Create and review schematics, PCB layouts, and hardware specifications Collaborate with cross-functional teams including firmware, software, and mechanical engineers Perform hardware debugging, root cause analysis, and design validation testing Develop and maintain technical documentation including BOMs, design files, and test reports Evaluate and select components, working closely with vendors and suppliers Support design-for-manufacturability (DFM) and design-for-testability (DFT) reviews

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field 3+ years of experience in hardware design and development Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium, KiCad, or Eagle) Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design principles Experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters Familiarity with communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, USB, or Ethernet Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a collaborative engineering environment
