Job description

Join a fast-paced consumer electronics team in Cupertino, CA as a System Integration Test Lead. You will own system-level test readiness across NPI builds, partnering with engineering and manufacturing teams to bring products from development into production., * Lead test readiness across PCBA/SMT, system integration, final assembly, and manufacturing test.

  • Plan and execute NPI build dry runs and identify risks before production.
  • Troubleshoot and isolate HW, SW/firmware, mechanical, fixture, and manufacturing failures.
  • Drive structured failure analysis, root-cause investigations, corrective actions, and issues to closure.
  • Coordinate engineering and manufacturing teams and communicate clear status, risks, and recommendations.
  • Improve test processes, coverage, quality, yield, and manufacturing readiness.
  • Support CM/OEM partners and ensure manufacturing test criteria are met.
  • Apply system-level thinking to determine whether failures originate in the product, software, test equipment, or manufacturing process.

Requirements

  • BS/MS in EE, CE, Systems, ME, CS, or related field.
  • 3+ years in NPI, manufacturing test, hardware validation, system integration, or product engineering.
  • Hands-on experience supporting manufacturing builds and failure analysis/troubleshooting.
  • Strong hardware fundamentals and understanding of HW/SW system interactions.
  • Demonstrated technical ownership and ability to lead across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic understanding of embedded systems.

Preferred: Consumer electronics, PCBA, embedded systems, CM/OEM, manufacturing test validation, or experience with GRR, Cpk/Ppk, yield, throughput, and line capacity.
