Video Security Software Test Engineer

• Planning, designing, executing, and documenting functional, integration, system, load, and security tests to ensure high product quality
• Developing, maintaining, and refining manual and automated test procedures
• Analysis, tracking, and documentation of defects, as well as support in resolving them in close collaboration with developers
• Conducting tests in complex server/client environments before and after product releases
• Continuous optimization of test processes and quality standards
• Technical point of contact for quality assurance topics within interdisciplinary teams

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
• Several years of experience in quality assurance (test management, test automation) of complex software systems
• In-depth knowledge of networks, virtualization, Windows, and databases
• Extensive professional experience in manual and automated testing in a server/client environment, ideally in an agile development setting
• Good knowledge of scripting and programming languages (e.g., C++, C# .NET, JavaScript, Python, PowerShell)
• Ability to analyze complex technical problems and develop creative solutions
• A structured, meticulous, and quality-oriented approach to work
• Enjoyment of collaborating in interdisciplinary teams and providing technical support to colleagues
• High level of initiative, a strong sense of responsibility, and flexibility in a dynamic environment
