Job description

Provide frontline support for warehouse systems by serving as the primary liaison between IT, regional operations leadership, and warehouse floor users. Responsible for troubleshooting system issues, supporting WMS functionality, maintaining master data, training local users, and escalating technical problems to corporate IT as needed. Ensure smooth and efficient daily warehouse operations through proactive system monitoring and issue prevention., * Serve as the primary on-site contact for system-related issues impacting warehouse operations.

  • Provide first-level troubleshooting for order management, inventory, receiving, and shipping system errors.
  • Monitor daily system performance to identify and resolve issues proactively.
  • Create and escalate support tickets to corporate IT in accordance with established protocols.
  • WMS Administration & Data Maintenance
  • Maintain warehouse location master data and customer article/SKU information.
  • Support configuration changes and assist with system updates or deployment activities as needed.
  • Validate system setups to ensure compliance with customer and operational requirements.

User Support & Training

  • Provide hands-on user support for warehouse associates, leads, and supervisors.
  • Conduct local training sessions for new system features, process changes, or onboarding needs.
  • Assist users in understanding system capabilities and how they relate to operational processes.

Process & Documentation

  • Identify process changes that impact system use and update relevant documentation (e.g., work instructions, SOPs).
  • Support the creation of operational reports and ensure accuracy of reporting data.
  • Provide input to continuous improvement initiatives related to system usage or workflow optimization.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Communicate frequently with regional operations leaders, local managers, and corporate deployment teams.
  • Participate in calls or meetings related to system upgrades, customer implementations, or ongoing support., Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools may be used to support portions of the recruitment process, such as reviewing application materials or assisting with scheduling. These tools analyze information to help inform decision making; however, all hiring decisions are made by human reviewers.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in shipping/receiving, inventory control, warehouse operations, or similar environment.
  • Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and related operational technology (RF scanners, printers, etc.).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with ability to diagnose and resolve system or process-related errors.
  • Working knowledge of customer requirements and how they translate into system configuration.
  • Ability to bridge gaps between system capabilities and operational workflows.
  • Strong interpersonal skills-including communication, teamwork, customer service, and a positive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and shifting priorities.
