Job description

Netcompany is looking for Graduate Data Engineers to join us on a permanent basis to drive forward our delivery capability and deliver optimum solutions to our clients. Based in Leeds you will be joining a forward-thinking organisation that puts your personal development first. As a Data Engineer at Netcompany, you have two roles; a Consultant and a Developer. As a consultant, you’ll interact with our clients, work alongside a multi-disciplinary team and develop problem-solving skills. As a data engineer, you are keen to use new technologies and work with your team to develop solutions for our clients. We are a Microsoft Gold partner and use web-based languages and Microsoft technologies on our projects. You will be working on some of the largest, most complex and technically innovative programmes and projects for some of the most prestigious organisations in the world.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a technical degree
  • Passionate about data and eager to pick up new skills
  • Logical thinker
  • Able to communicate complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences
  • Share ideas and knowledge
  • Proactive and can take ownership
  • Interested in working on a variety of platforms which could include: Microsoft Stack - SQL Server, Analysis Services, Reporting SSRS, Power BI; Cloud technologies like Azure and AWS; PostgreSQL, NoSQL platforms, Oracle
  • Must be willing to do UK-based travel for projects
  • Must have the right to work in the UK, * A graduate of Data Science BSc or similar discipline
  • Degree 2:1 and above
