Job description

Harvey Nash has partnered with a high-profile public sector body delivering regional digital innovation projects across government and public services. As part of their continued investment in automation and cloud transformation, they’re looking to bring in a .Net Developer to join a growing multidisciplinary team.

This is a hands-on role focused on building cloud-native tools and bespoke web applications to support business-critical operations. You’ll work across greenfield builds, automation tooling, and internal data platforms - all with a clear focus on making meaningful digital change.

What you’ll be doing:

Design, build and maintain secure, scalable .NET web applications using Blazor and MVC architecture

Contribute to greenfield development projects migrating legacy infrastructure into Azure environments

Implement automation and data solutions using RPA (e.g. Blue Prism), Power Platform, and Power BI

Champion Agile delivery principles (Scrum/Kanban), using T-shirt sizing, estimation, and collaborative planning

Engage directly with stakeholders to understand requirements, recommend tooling, and drive technical delivery

Provide training and documentation to ensure smooth service transition and adoption across business functions

Requirements

Proven experience developing enterprise-grade .NET solutions, ideally including Blazor or MVC webapps

Experience designing data layers from scratch, with good working knowledge of SQL and data modelling

Exposure to Power Platform, Blue Prism, Power BI, or other low/no-code automation tools

Strong understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies, including CI/CD and source control

Ability to lead or support delivery of full-stack solutions across development, automation, and reporting

Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and technical coaching or training skills

A collaborative and pragmatic mindset - eager to trial new technologies and approaches

Eligibility for Security Clearance.
