Job description
As a Finance Systems Analyst you will be central to ensuring our Finance department’s systems are functional, efficient, and evolving. You’ll provide technical and administrative support, investigate system issues, and document processes to maintain optimal performance and appropriate controls. Working closely with finance users, IT teams, and external suppliers, you’ll manage system access, resolve queries, and support infrastructure needs. You will also support our Finance transformation project, working with Microsoft and Snowflake technologies, and aiding in implementing a new ERP system and Finance Data Mart., * Undertaking core BAU duties that support operation of a finance department, including administering access to our systems, month-end activities, and maintaining appropriate controls across our estate.
- Working closely across Finance teams, IT, and 3rd-party suppliers to troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of end-user issues & queries.
- Assisting the finance team with UAT and sharing best practices.
- Assisting with the initial configuration of new systems and acting as a key contributor for the development of additional capabilities within the systems.
Requirements
- Knowledge of database technologies e.g. SQL/Snowflake.
- Previous experience of Workday Finance is essential.
- High level of accuracy with the ability to reconcile large volumes of data.
- Able to explain technical information to a non-technical audience.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills - ability to work to strict deadlines.
- Strong communication, listening and influencing skills (both internal and external).
