Job description
You’ll join an established team who work closely with our customers to understand their evolving needs. Once settled in the role, you’ll be responsible for managing the annual product development roadmap for a designated product set for the Insurance vertical. As the ‘product expert’ within the business, you’ll be empowered to make decisions impacting product, customer requirements and expectations, with guidance and support from the Product Managers., * Champion the customer: Stay closely connected to customer needs within your product area to ensure every development delivers real, measurable value.
- Be the Product authority: Act as the go-to expert for your product set-guiding decisions, aligning teams, and ensuring clarity across the business.
- Own the roadmap: Build and manage a clear, prioritised product backlog that fuels a steady stream of impactful developments.
- Maximise ROI: Ensure every product enhancement aligns with strategic goals and delivers strong returns.
- Think long-term: Keep a close eye on technical debt to maintain product health and sustainability over time.
- Deliver with excellence: Oversee development processes to ensure high-quality outcomes that meet business expectations., * Regular updates on the progress/outcome of your application
- An initial telephone screening call with our Recruitment Business Partner
- First interview with the hiring manager, usually via Teams
- Second/Final interview, in-person at our office (we may give you a role specific task to present on!)

Requirements
- Proven experience: Solid background as a B2B software or data Product Owner, with a track record of delivering successful solutions.
- Agile mindset: Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, especially Scrum, and how to apply them effectively.
- Customer-focused discovery: Skilled in running workshops, conducting interviews, and mapping user journeys to uncover real needs.
- Clear communicator: Able to write compelling, customer-centric user stories and epics, and manage them with precision.
- Team player: You foster collaboration and spark innovation to elevate the product development process.
- Lifecycle know-how: Comfortable navigating the full software development lifecycle.
- (Bonus) Experience in automotive or insurance risk-based products is a plus-but not a must.

Working Hours
Our standard working hours are 8:30-16:30 Monday-Thursday, early finish on Friday 8:30-15:45 (Talk to us about flexible working if this doesn’t quite suit you - we take work-life balance seriously!)
